We are seeking a Computer Scientist to join the Network Device team supporting a long-standing and essential mission. In this role, you will contribute to the development of both new and existing capabilities, focusing on network devices. This position offers a dynamic environment for engineers who thrive on tackling complex challenges and delivering impactful solutions.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Utilizing strong C programming skills to design and implement new features and maintain existing systems.
- Performing reverse engineering on a variety of architectures to understand and modify software components.
- Collaborating with a high-performing team to troubleshoot and resolve issues in real-time environments.
- Conducting research and development to enhance current capabilities and explore innovative solutions.
- Applying in-depth knowledge of network protocols to develop efficient, scalable, and secure solutions.
Required:
- 10 + years of experience as a Software Engineer using development technologies such as C/C++, Python or Java.
- 3+ years of experience with CNO development technologies and tools such as C/C++, Python, Ghidra, or Wireshark.
- Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
- 8 years of software engineering experience with a master’s degree in computer science or a related STEM field.
- 6 years of software engineering experience with a Doctorate in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
- Demonstrated experience in reverse engineering across diverse architectures.
- Required Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Desired:
- In-depth understanding of network protocols and their implementation.
- Experience working in a Real-Time Operating System environment.
