Summary
Join a fast-paced team supporting a large, complex enterprise IT environment with geographically distributed and highly secure systems. This role provides hands-on system administration, troubleshooting, security, and infrastructure support across server, desktop, storage, and network environments. The ideal candidate is an experienced systems administrator who can adapt quickly, solve technical challenges, and work effectively with users, engineers, developers, and support team
Required
- 8+ years of relevant Engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Experience providing direct Systems Engineering support to end users and technical staff.
- Proficiency with Windows Server 2019 and Active Directory.
- Experience with software and hardware deployment, patching, operating systems, and system backup/restore.
- Familiarity with SALT, Ansible, Splunk, Puppet, SolarWinds, and Nessus.
- Experience with Red Hat and VMware.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, standards, and information security principles.
- Experience supporting both client and server virtualization environments.
- Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and reimaging hardware.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation for complex server and network environments.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional TE or related experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
- Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly
- SQL Server experience.
- Python and/or scripting experience.
- Experience supporting software configuration management and development environments.
- Agile experience.
- Familiarity with PKI, HSMs, and NTP.
- PowerShell and PowerCLI experience.
- Experience supporting security accreditation and certification activities.
